It was a decent stay but could use some more improvements,
8.0The location is excellent, its just 10 steps from the beach. I did get confused and thought that I booked the apartment with the big balcony. Please double check while booking, incase you have a preference. The property is located in a quiet little cove and the view of the sea and beach are great. But there is nothing here except 3 seafood dominated restaurants, great if you eat fish, not so great if you are Vegetarian since the smell of seafood travels. I recommend that one shop for groceries in Amalfi or request for a grocery drop from the host, just be warned that you have to climb a lot of steps to get it and to the road. If the steps are not a concern then there are no issues. I did find the bathroom a little dated and the shower could use better cleaning and some updating. The sofa bed isnt the most comfortable, there was a little bend. The view of the sunrise is just gorgeous. The host was able to help us book a boat taxi from Amalfi which was great, it is more expensive but the most convenient way to travel.
− I do wish that a few staples things were provided in the home like bottled water, a few breakfast snacks and kitchen staples like salt and oil. As a tourist, its annoying to have to buy salt and oil since the packets are so large. I do understand that a grocery drop is offered but, what would one do with a giant bag of salt or a huge bottle of oil after a few day stay. Unless one chooses to eat in the restaurants on the beach, cooking is a must. I did find that the house was slightly dusty. and the smell of seafood was off putting to me, since I am a vegetarian.

10.0Enestående beliggenhed, bedste strand i området!
A slice of paradise
9.0We found a slice of peace and paradise in the Amalfi Coast in August. The location is out of this world. The water so clean, the beach wasn't crowded, the local restaurants friendly and lovely food (we saw them coming back each morning on the boats with fish they caught to cook that day). You will adore the view from the apartment which was charming and stylishly decorated. Carmen went out of her way to help us with a water taxi pick up from Amalfi and also arranged one for us to take us back the day we left, along with coordinating a set price taxi transfer to Naples airport (we had the choice to meet up the top of the stairs but decided against it with luggage). As far as stairs go, if you're fit, they're not too bad, you can take your time and they're not too steep. Special mention to the guys at Paradise Bay - such lovely and honest guys. Nunzia welcomed us when we arrived in the evening she also offered to do a food shopping order for us that could be delivered at the top of the stairs. Good to know! I do recommend bringing some supplies with you for breakfast though. We loved every minute of our stay here. Thank you Carmen!
