We had a lovely few days relaxing in the tranquil space.

It was cosy, and in a wonderful, secluded location. Rustic and real, spacious and quiet. Lovely rooms, spacious and an ideal house for a large group. Nearby there were lovely places. The host was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Fantastic support and service, and went out of her way to help on any level.

− There had been a huge amount of rain the week before our trip, so the road to access the property was very torn up. If you are a nervous driver it would have been far from ideal, and you may have given up all together. But once there, it was lovely. Not the kind of road you would want to drive in the dark as the signposting could be clearer. And do not follow the Google Maps route - this was impassable - but the directions from the host much better. I would also say the kitchen equipment could also be updated and added to, wooden spoons etc, and a grater…to make cooking there for large groups easier.

Marta is a great host and the villa itself is beautiful

− Nearly impossible to get to if you don't have a 4x4. The first night we tried to arrive, the taxis got stuck in the mud and we had to walk around 2km in the dark and rain to arrive at the villa. Then during the night, it started raining and the roof started leaking water... Really not what you want. So on the same night, we left to stay at a hotel nearby as the villa was inhabitable due to the crazy leaks and impossible access. I asked the host to refund us for the remaining nights we stayed and she refused. Only willing to give 1/5 of what we paid. This will be going through a chargeback.
