9.0Beautiful views of the castle and estuary from the lounge. Spotless and well decorated with good showers, plenty of towels and complimentary wine/tea provided for us on arrival. We actually preferred the bedrooms being downstairs with easy access to the outdoor seating area. Lovely and peaceful place. Shops, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance.
− Nothing! Our only small issue was no corkscrew in the kitchen but the wine provided was screw top, so no real problem.

− Had to find instructions on how to use hob and oven, TV could not get to work. Most importantly, slept in the rear bedroom facing the garden it was cold and very damp, clothes in the wardrobe felt damp. Not happy with that very uncomfortable. Ok
Almost perfect...
8.0We loved the location right by the castle, and that it was well equipped and clean. The kitchen was the best room in the house. Modern home with a lot of retro bits and pieces.
− The somewhat hard bed (for our taste), the uncomfortable three piece suite, and no privacy in the outdoor area.
Perfect location and views!
10.0The house was in a perfect location to view the castle and estuary. It is beautifully furnished and was exceptionally clean. It's an upside down living arrangement with the lounge and kitchen upstairs to make the most of the view and bedrooms on the ground floor Everything was thought of and a welcome pack of shortbread, waffle biscuits and prosecco was so appreciated.
− Nothing! The house had been shut up so there was a slight musty smell when we first arrived but as soon as we opened the windows it was fine and in no way detracted from the lovely surroundings.
