Centralt läge, nog för centralt.

− Stor lägenhet men inte riktigt hemtrevlig. Lägenheten ligger där två gågator möts så det är mycket omgivande oväsen. Endast enkelglas för fönstren + luckor ger inget inget skydd, snarast förstärker oväsendet. Över en av sängarna kom hela tiden ett fint svart mjöl, sannolikt lossnande isolering från taket, inte trevligt.

Apartment in great location, disappointing overall.

Location is very good overall, convenient for buses, taxis and shopping, close to the old town, restaurants and bars.

− Yannik, the Hosticasa rep was over an hour late in meeting us outside the apartment to hand over keys. We'd spent over 40 Euros for a private transfer from the airport in order to meet him before a 2000 hrs deadline to avoid a 25 Euro penalty imposed on us for a late out of hours arrival. No sign of any compensation to us for the rep's late arrival at 2100 hrs. We spent 90 minutes waiting in total. Stairs were up to the apartment were narrow and steep. No welcome pack apart from 2 small packets of biscuits, costing under 1 Euro. Lighting inadequate, even using dimmer switches at max. Impossible to work the TV apart from the white handset to access You Tube. No written instructions for any equipment, or helpful local tourism guidance. Took us 3 days to find the toaster, hidden at the back of a drawer. No information on the history of the old building, which we would have appreciated. Noisy from the streets below until very late at night if windows open, too hot if not opened. No air con. Dubious cleanliness evidenced by cockroaches sighted near to washing machine. Toilet had not been cleaned properly either. Contact from Hosticasa by e-mail and via Booking.com didn't alert us sufficiently to the need for a 200 Euro damages deposit to be paid before keys would be handed over. We also query why the refund of that deposit should take an estimated 2 weeks. We left the apartment on 27 November so Hosticasa should know by 28 November that we did not damage anything and left the apartment tidy and as clean as could be reasonably expected.

− The apartment does not appear as shown in the images. The fixtures, for example, are old and certainly do not help isolate the apartment from the noisy street. There is also a construction site really close which makes a lot of noise at all hours of the day, making it impossible to stay in this apartment. I believe that the host should have notified and for this reason I asked for a refund which obviously was not granted.

Just a great place to stay.

We loved the loft! Very spacious, yet cosy. Close to the old town and the busstops

The apartment was very spacious. The sofa and bed were both comfortable and the kitchen was very well kitted out with everything we needed. There was also a separate dining area as well as a small courtyard space. The bathroom was good with a rainfall shower head, and there was also a washing machine and tumbledrier. The location is great for getting around by public transport as the hubs for both bus companies are within a 10 minute walk.

− We found the apartment to be too dark in the evenings- the overhead spotlights are quite dim and the lamps did not work. It would have been fine for watching TV, but it was not possible to read a book for example. Future guests need to be aware that the location of the apartment means it is very noisy. It is above shops & a bar, between two busy pedestrian streets and the noise seems to echo up into the apartment. On some evenings this continued until the early hours of the morning. We were also woken quite early most mornings.
