Breathtaking location and view
10.0Best location in town. Clean apartment. Everything as it should be. The swimming pool and the outdoor area with a barbecue take everything to a higher level. Rating 11/10.
A nice place to stay while visiting the area surrounding Motovun, with easy access to all of Istria.
10.0The location is in close proximity to the hill town. The property was recently renovated, and is in very good condition, with good facilities. Bonus, the wine refrigerator has a small stock of local wines, available to you for a reasonable price. You can walk to the hilltop town area in about a 15 minute walk, on a cobblestone street, but note that it is a healthy uphill walk. During our three night stay, we were able to explore much of Istria, get in a truffle hunt with a local outfit, enjoy some nice dinners at the restaurants at the top of the hill, and enjoy visiting wineries in the area. Note: You have to park on the street, though you are not required to pay as the host notes your vehicle license plates. From the street, there is a gate so you cannot drive up to the property without the host's assistance. From the gate to the house is about 110 meters of a moderate uphill walk on the pavement, plus your vehicle may be parked some additional distance from the intersection.
