Great value, stylish and right near P:Louise!
10.0Gorgeous decor, lovely shower, really clean.
− The tv was a bit basic and poor quality picture but honestly that doesn’t bother me too much.
Clean, comfortable and spacious but let down by lack of essentials, like milk and duvets. .
7.0The property itself was of a very high standard. The downstairs space was comfortable and spacious. The property was nice and clean. There was a downstairs toilet as well as the main bathroom. The living area was comfortable and spacious. There is outside space which would be good for kids.
− Some essential things were missing. The main one being milk! Very surprised to find no milk was left in the kitchen. It's unusual and unfriendly that no milk was there for tea. With it being a family size home, perhaps even a big bottle of milk could be provided as it would be welcoming and very handy if the guest had children. There was no duvets on the beds, only sheets. This is unusual and again feels unfriendly. It was very warm when we visited, but it is often very cold at night here, even in summer. And a lot of people like to use a duvet for comfort, even when it is cold. There was no shower gel, shampoo or conditioner. I would expect at least shower gel to be left. There was no tea towels, cloths or cleaning products. We like to clean up after ourselves and we couldn't do that. Providing these things makes cleaning easier for the host as people can clean as they go. I wondered if the hosts might be new to the UK and these were cultural differences. But, I do feel that at least milk and duvets should be provided. That is the usual standard and it's honestly quite upsetting that they weren't avalible. There was a mistake with the key codes, so accessing the property was a pain. But, the host did respond quickly and resolve the issue. There was also a locked door to a room we couldn't access, this is arguably quite minor and understandable but it's something I personally find quite unsettling. Overall the stay was fine, and the property was great but the lack of essentials is a real letdown. It's disappointing and an added stress after a long day.
