Quiet, comfortable and fascinating, astonishing local architecture, stunning views.

Super views of the lake and hills but a very steep hairpin narrow street to access. Demanding walk from the lakeside up to the flat. Fantastic old houses and gardens with interesting rustic houses around Podina accessed via steps which meander around the buldings and give surprises at every turn. Easy walking down but obviously harder going up. There are limited number of open parking spaces with white lines on the roads, yellow and blue ones are private. A free bus goes from Brissago centre /post to Piodina Paese stop which is just up from the flat once an hour or so and back. Timetable is listed on the bus stop. An easy walk to the next "nucleus" [hamlet] Inchella is flatish to start then drops down to the small river/waterfalls and over the bridge to go up the other side. Luca was super helpful.

Nice place, nice view and good equipped with the necessary things. Good and fast communication with the owner.

− It’s quite high up the hill. But not a big problem if you have driving skills.
