10.0Had a great stay at Dpto Independiente in Puerto Ayora. The host is very friendly, responsive and helpful with check-in instructions and great local recommendations. Apartment was perfect! It was clean, came with a well equipped kitchen and located in a quieter, more rural part of town. About a 10min walk from the Main Street, but the walk is easy and safe. The apartment came with two AC units (one in the main room and another in the bedroom) and also a laundry machine which was a huge plus. Highly recommend staying here

Comfortable flat and glad I found this place.
9.0Quiet residential area. Feels safe. There's a convenience store just around the corner. Host was friendly, responsive and reliable. Keyless entry system was great as I didn't have to fumble around for keys. Comfortable flat, spacious and minimal/neutral decor. Feels like a home away from home. Garden access from flat (I smoke). Bed and pillows were firm. Living room Aircon was brilliant and cools quickly. Clothes rack available to dry swimming stuff. Walking distance to main areas and attractions. Option of various lighting choices and much more. This is a place I would recommend and will certainly look out for if I am in Santa Cruz again.
− Water leak from plumbing but it was resolved quickly. Also had problem with washing machine not draining. These were minor hiccups which didn't affect my overall stay.

9.0Spacious apartment with all the necessary facilities. Owner communicated well and was responsive to our requests - we had an issue with washing machine and WiFi. Provided regular supply of bottled water, and fresh towels during our 10 day stay. Located in an area where the locals live so we were able to experience the true Galapagos lifestyle - community is at the heart and children are safe to openly play.
