A lovely couple of days near the beach

The location was great. The decor was lovely and the property was spacious. We've stayed in many places in Whitstable and this is one of the better ones. We had a great couple of days.

− The bed (in the master bedroom - that's all we used) was a little too small. Coupled with the extreme heat (obviously nothing to do with the property!) this made sleeping difficult. The fan provided helped but was was a bit noisy. Maybe ceiling fans would be an idea. It would also have been nice to have some milk on arrival and a coffee machine rather than just cafetieres. Also the french doors are difficult to lock securely. It's too easy to lock them without realising they can be opened again with a good push. These aren't criticisms. I hope this is useful feedback!

Beautiful cottage with everything we needed for a girly weekend away. We loved the courtyard garden on a sunny weekend in Whitstable.

− We loved it all but could have done with a few more fans as it was a hot weekend.

It was a fantastic property with beautiful antiques. I just wish I had such great taste as the owners. Plenty of room and design of property ensures privacy and social interaction.

− There was nothing to dislike about the property. The location was perfect with great restaurants. During the day there options to go for wonderful coastal walks or swim in the sea. We also took full advantage of the train and buses and went to Ramsgate, Margate and Canterbury.

Fig cottage was full of beautiful pottery and artworks and many lovely design details - every day you could find another surprise!. The beds were really comfortable and the bedrooms beautifully decorated with good hanging space and efficient blinds.

− The stairs were rather awkward as a couple of us are tall but we just needed to be careful

Lovely place to stay , so close to everything we wanted to see.

− Got used to the tight stairs ! no negatives, we were only staying a few nights .
