Excellent option for Gandikota backpacking trip!!! Go for it in ON season!!
8.0The hostel rooms were well maintained. The place has some spectacular views of the windmills on the back and the mountains on the front. It is close to 1km away from Gandikota but it is perfect for backpackers. The manager Mr. Murali was extremely friendly. The minute I arrived I was nearly put of charge in my EV. He immediately hooked me to a 20A socket and helped me with the charging for the whole night. He even accompanied me to show the place around on his bike and took me to a very good restaurant nearby for dinner as most of the places were either closed or they were resorts. His partner caretaker Durga was equally friendly and co operative. They are very well trained for all the adventure activities and take you to the beat spots to get a beautiful view of the Grand Canyon. Overall my stay was very comforting!!!
