10.0The location of Mole’s cottage is perfect for anyone seeking a getaway to relax. Upon arrival at the cottage, we were able to park outside the door and unload our luggage. Entering the cottage, we were blown away by how beautifully it was presented; it was immaculate. The porch faces Lake Coniston, offering stunning views of the surrounding fells. During our four-day stay, we didn’t hear any noise or see anyone. Though the cottage is located on a road, we heard very few cars passing by. The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a home away from home stay. Coniston village is within easy walking distance, and the lakeside with its amazing views is just a stroll away. There are numerous beautiful walks starting from the cottage, with Brentwood nearby. We would definitely stay here again; it's a real gem. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking a romantic, peaceful getaway, or for those who enjoy walks in the fells. Tarnhows is not far away; we were able to go there late in the evening and have it to ourselves.
− We didn't find anything we disliked about the property. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the shower was amazing. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The wood-burning stove was easy to light.
