Such a wonderful outlook on the river and very relaxing and comfortable

− Probably mostly to do with previous guests, but we had to wash some kitchenware before using them. Some firestarters/matches or kindling would have been useful for the fire pit and indoor log fire. The locks proved to be a bit sticky.
Beautiful cottage in an amazing location
9.0Some friends and I had a lovely stay at The River Cottage. The location was beautiful, the cottage was charming- we'd be very happy to come back and stay here again. We did have an issue accessing the kayaks but the manager and owners (and neighbours!) were super helpful in solving our problem.
− We paid approx. $950 for 2 nights- this was fine split between 4 friends but I think if you were a family say, it would be quite expensive. The booking system is not easy to use and I found it annoying. You book using booking.com but then you're transferred over to this other system to do everything else. It was tedious and not easy to navigate. In some respects, why is it on booking.com in the first place?
