Blízko centra, vybavenie super, bolo tam všetko ako doma.

− Prístelka resp.poschodova posteľ bola tak pre 10r.dieta max. A my sme mali 17r.chalana. určite to nemalo takú nosnosť. Tiež ruch z ulice, okná do cesty. Ale to je daň za polohu v centre. A chýbali inštrukcie, kde sa dá zaparkovať, nakoľko parkovisko nebolo k dispozícii.

This is a lovely apartment in central cortina. The space is impeccably clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The apartment has ample space and is light filled with large windows. The Host is incredibly kind and accommodating. The location is perfect with tons of cafes and restaurants at your doorstep.

Casa molto carina in centro

It may not be the best time to stay in Cortina, as the town is currently very busy preparing for the Winter Olympics. Construction and roadblocks are everywhere. We originally booked this BnB because there was a bus station right downstairs, with buses connecting to many main attractions. However, due to the ongoing construction, the bus station has been relocated, and it now takes about 12 minutes to walk there. We only learned about this change through the bus website two weeks before our departure and only realized the full impact upon arrival. This was a bit unfortunate. I assume the bus station will return to its original location once construction is complete, especially since there are many new hotels nearby. Because of all the work, both the view from our BnB and our access to downtown were affected. As for the BnB itself, it’s very spacious. If you like old European furniture, you will definitely love it here. The place is cozy and clean, and you can cook and do laundry. The host is super helpful and responds promptly to any requests. Instructions are clear, though you should be mindful of the water pressure. For example, if you are doing laundry, you can’t use water in other parts of the apartment at the same time. Also, wait about 30 seconds for the shower water to heat up. The shutters can be raised, and I encourage you to open them all when you check in to let the beautiful sunlight shine through the flat—it makes a huge difference compared to when the shutters are down. It would be nice if a few extra toilet rolls could be provided, although I believe the host would immediately supply them if needed. Another good thing about this BnB is the reliable Wi-Fi, elevator, and access to YouTube, which are helpful for luggage and trip planning. If you are staying in Cortina, I would recommend the restaurant La Tavernetta di Cortina. Their pasta and service are really good!
