A nice rental for a couple or group of 4

The instructions how to check-in, access the garage, find the garbage, etc. are very straight forward. The property is large enough for a group of 4 people with a bathroom for each. We appreciated the two terraces that the property has and the equipment of the kitchen, which allows you to cook diverse dishes. Finally, this was the biggest plus for us, the property is in a residential area and is therefore not noisy at all and the neighbours are very kind.

− There were just a couple of things that stood out to us in a bad way: - the furniture outside on the main terrace is old, the bench is broken and the table was very wobbly. I would have expect that the furniture is exchanged given the price tag of the property - on check-out day the cleaning lady was given the ok to be in the property at 11:02. We found this extremely intrusive, as a courtesy of 10 minutes after the check-out time would have been nice. We had just left the parking, so when I returned to the house to leave the keys, as it was indicated to me by the host, I found the cleaning lady in the house and I got a huge scare because I had no idea who she was, plus she said nothing just looked at me. Very very unpleasant experience. - the bed sheet was too small and would always peel off the mattress as soon as you got into bed. It never happened to me before but it was very annoying.

Very nice apartment about 20 min from Bilbao center by car

Apartment is very modern, with a very high spec of furnishing generally. Very modern bathroom, cooker, over, shower. There is a nice terrace area to the rear with a retractable awning which covers most of the patio and is great to provide sun cover. Car park is spacious with room for 2 cars, beds are comfortable with good quality mattresses, and check in is easy. The property is laid out over 3 floors (basement carpark and an empty room that would make an amazing games room if used (it's currently empty), a middle / ground floor with one bedroom and kitchen / living area and adjoining patio, and then a top floor with an office, another patio and master bedroom. Rooms are a good size and all very clean. Check in is done over WhatsApp and was easy. The team doing the work were friendly, accessible and had very clear communication / instructions on how to get in / out of the property. I never actually needed to speak to them as it was all done on messages. The Beach is 20 min walk away and is very nice and clean. There is a nice bar/ restaurant along the route. The area is residential and generally peaceful.

− The rear overlooks another house with an outdoor pool, who're quite loud and had a party on our first night, but they seemed to quiet down around 11pm so guess that's ok. As the rear patio faces the neighbor's back garden the noise did take some of the enjoyment out of sitting outside at night. There is no aircon which we knew. The weather when we visited was really hot some days 36degrees as a result we struggled to get the top floor to cool down at night. The mattress seemed to radiate heat so our sleep was a bit broken (We're Irish so not used to the head so this may not be an issue for others, we've had no aircon before and were able to get places cool overnight but we struggled on the top floor here). As we mentioned the house is fitted out to a really high standard but it's clearly managed by an agent. It had the cheapest, crappiest pillows and sheets I've seen in a while (didn't help with the sleep), no pictures on any walls and you'll need to buy toilet paper if staying more than a few days (really??). The basement is crying out for a games room or other use, which was a pity.

Reihenhaus in einer reinen Urlaubssiedlung. Sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Man hat alles, was man braucht, Supermarkt ist in der Nähe. Man kann theoretisch zu den Stränden laufen, es gibt aber auch einen großen Parkplatz. Dieser ist bei schönem Wetter allerdings recht schnell voll. Gibt aber auch noch genügend Parkplätze in der Nähe, die den Weg zu den Stränden verkürzt...

− Da das Haus in einer reinen Wohnsiedlung liegt, ist es mit dem Ausgehen abends eher schwierig.
