Great value, some large rooms, great breakfast, super helpful staff
10.0We used it before and after the Huayhuash circuit hike. Try to get the larger room - the small room is just too tiny and has a super small shower. The big room was great to prepare for the hike and after the hike to dry out our clothes. Staff was super helpful - even at 4am. Breakfast was very small for hungry hikers - but very very good and tasty. You should upgrade to the larger room!

6.0The rooms are nice enough and the bed was comfortable.
− The area is very noisy and far away from the city center, although at least close to the Cruz del Sur Terminal. The communal areas look nice but are somewhat neglected and were hardly used by anybody. Staff don't speak any English (although without any Spanish it is not easy to get around in the Cordillera Blanca Region in general). Some staff were friendly and helpful, others not. At breakfast I had the feeling to have to ask for everything and at one occasion I actually ended up getting up hungry.
