Great location BUT needs a few things to make it better
7.0Positives: The location was perfect as it was only an 8 minute walk to Paddington Station and about a 5 minute walk to a large grocery store. The flat was clean and bright. It had all the equipment we needed for a weekend trip. It was easy communication with the manager and was easy access to check in. The heating works great too!
− Negatives: The building exterior and immediate neighbourhood. It’s located in what feels and seems to be in a lower income community which upon arrival worried us a bit. In the end, it was perfectly fine. Another thing to know is that the bed in the bedroom is extremely uncomfortable. The mattress had no spring in it and we sank into the middle all night. The bed frame was noisy when we moved from side to side. Did not sleep well at all. We travelled with our 9 year old daughter and she slept on the sofa. Luckily it was exactly her size in length so it worked out fine but if you are taller than a 9 year old, it could have been difficult. Also, at night there is a bright light coming from the exterior hall into the kitchen window which required us to buy my daughter an eye mask. My suggestion is to perhaps add curtains to that window in the kitchen for the future. Also, it is quite noisy outside during the night and there are only single pane windows, so our second night we preferred to buy earplugs to sleep a little better. Finally, When we all wanted to sit on the sofa, one of us was not very comfortable because there was a large hole indented in the sofa which is quite uncomfortable.
