The host was welcoming and extremely attentive - she made some local restaurant recommendations which did not disappoint! The location and facilities were ideal for our stay. The private bathroom located next to the room was also convenient! The room was spacious with everything we needed and the bed was also comfortable! Thank you!

Ich war für ein Festival im Crystal Palace Park für 3 Tage dort und sehr zufrieden. Die Lage und insbesondere die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr (Zug ab Streatham Common/Bus 45 mit Haltestelle direkt um die Ecke) ist gut. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die Gastgeberin, die sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich ist. Sie hat von sich aus kaltes Wasser und Eis angeboten, Tipps für Restaurants und Freizeitaktivitäten et. gegeben. Ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt und hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt! Englisch version: I stayed here for three days while attending a festival in Crystal Palace Park and was extremely happy with my stay. The location is very convenient, especially with the excellent public transport connections. Streatham Common station is nearby, and the 45 bus stops just around the corner, making it easy to get around London. The host was outstanding—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. She kindly offered cold water and ice without being asked and provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Her hospitality made me feel truly welcome from the moment I arrived. Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area.

It was clean and tidy. That was the only thing good in that place

− The truth is we booked this for our family—an aunt and her 15-year-old daughter for her birthday. From the first day, the host had a very hypocritical and unpleasant attitude. The first thing she said when we arrived was, “Take off your shoes, you can’t enter the house with shoes.” Then in the room: “Don’t touch this, don’t touch that.” All the closets were full of their belongings; only half of one closet was available, which was far too small for two people, so they had to keep their clothes in suitcases. The house itself was clean, but the host’s attitude was terrible. We were not allowed to eat in the room, store any food, or use the kitchen at all. There was no fridge available. They constantly asked what time we would return and said we couldn’t come back late, repeating “this is not a hotel.” The first night, we explained that my family arrived late (around 9pm), went out to eat, and returned around 1:30–2am. The host said they couldn’t sleep until everyone was home and was very angry when we arrived, slamming the door. My family felt scared. They don’t speak English, and the host doesn’t speak Spanish. The second day, we returned around 11:30pm–12am. From 11pm, the host sent multiple rude messages saying this is not a hotel and we must return at “reasonable hours,” expecting us to be back by 9pm—even though we were on vacation. We explained that this felt like a prison and that we wanted basic freedom without reporting our movements. The host became extremely aggressive, shouted at us, and demanded we leave immediately—even though we still had 2–3 days remaining. This happened at midnight, forcing my 15-year-old cousin to leave the property. We contacted Booking.com, who promised compensation, as the host cancelled the booking and refused to refund the remaining days. To this day, the issue is unresolved, and the host has kept our money. I absolutely do not recommend this host or this property.

Bathroom is always warm ,it’s close to the bus stop if you don’t want to take a uber

− There is no tv in the room the stair are dangerous when I was walking down I slip because the rug is a little to smooth luckily I didn’t hurt my back that god , the lady showed me a closet to use so her personal stuff is in one and the other closet to use for two grown adults that paid , u can rent a room with personal stuff stored inside we are not thieves but we paid for that storage space to it should have been freed to us . No kettle in the room to warm water to make tea but she placed cups and hot chocolate mix packs there mix a floss for us on arrival to last for 3 days , when my Miss showed up she said to me she feels unwelcome I said I also , because of how I was interrogated on my arrival, if she doesn’t want someone there when she sees them on arrival it is simple do a full refund and make life easy
