Nice views from a very comfortable and cozy cottage.
8.0The cottage is really nicely renovated with good lighting and comfortable furnishings throughout. We arrived during the holiday season, and there was a XMAS tree set up in the living room -- very pretty and thoughtful for the season. There were thoughtful touches throughout the place: qtips in the bathroom, coffee pods ready to go, etc. The patio looks right out over the lake, and the view from the living room is very nice. Pool table was excellently maintained! A rarity in this situation. Overall a lovely and comfortable place. There is a nice firepit out back, and though it didn't work for our trip (we arrived in late December so outside was less attractive), it looked like a very nice hangout with beautiful scenery. Wifi signal was good once we hooked up.
− There is not much to say here; we found the cottage lovely. It wasn't obvious that you could hike from the cottage without driving to another location; often when we've stayed in these kind of mountain cottages, you can get some decent walkabouts on foot from the property. We had a minor miscommunication with the owner that causes a spot of inconvenience.

Peaceful stay in a gorgeous location.
10.0Absolutely lovely spot overlooking peaceful Nantahala Lake. Well-kept home and all the amenities anyone might need. And a pool table! So even on a rainy afternoon, we had fun. Would be happy to return someday.
Perfect location for a relaxing family mountain/lake getaway!
10.0Great comfortable space. Beautifully decorated. My teenagers loved the pool table and all the games. They are already asking to go back. Secluded location, however, close to any lake activities you would want to do.
