Excellent location, but the apartment’s condition and maintenance fell below expectations.
3.0Excellent location in Canary Wharf with good transport links. The apartment was spacious and generally quiet. Check-in instructions were clear and communication was responsive.
− The apartment showed significantly more wear and tear than expected from the listing photographs. There was visible damage around the entrance lock, staining/damage to the carpet, and I observed insects in the bathroom during my stay. I was also required to pay a £500 security deposit directly to the accommodation provider before arrival rather than via Booking.com. I was asked via WhatsApp to allow third parties into the flat for a viewing which I declined. Communication felt defensive and pushy. Overall, the condition of the apartment did not fully match my expectations for the price paid.
