Booking.com should investigate this property, hot water in this day amd age should not be a luxury. NOT child friendly.
1.0Awful, old tired house, unwelcoming. Arrived late to a very cold house, no wood provided son had to drive 30 mins trip to buy wood. The hot water system broker down regular, usually mid-shower, meaning a trip pit the back to try various levers and pump re-sets to get going again. Furnishings bare and broken. Kitchen poorly kitted out, not even a dish cloth provided. Went to a walk up the back and nearly fell into a overgrown dam we had no idea was there. Mezzanine level had no child protection and gates to stop them climbing. Hugely disappointed and were glad to get out the place. The house is deceased !!
this accommodation has lovely views of marina and is close to Bruny ferry but is totally soulless
3.0great views. good beds. good linen and towels
− no tea/coffee. only 1 tea towel. water pump had to be reset 3 times during the stay. no kindling or chopped wood for fire. hand rail outside front door rotting so very dangerous. step risers at front very high so a problem for elderly. furniture very damaged. dirty windows. no plants, books etc to create atmosphere. yard very unkempt and weedy. liquid soap in bathrooms nearly empty on arrival.

− Master bedroom light switches in the hallway, not in the room; no toaster, saucepan, or microwave dishes; water pump stopped 2 or 3 times every day, so had to go outside to reset the pump, including in cold night. House quite run down.
Enjoyable but a listing of local information and things to do would add to peoples stays
