The setting amongst the rainforest and the view to the mountain were very peaceful. The property felt very comfortable and homely. It was clean and tidy, with great little touches of art and decoration. Loved the sunken bath in the deck. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed the supply of old records and jigsaw puzzles and appreciated a digital detox whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.

− The chairs around the fire pit were covered in excessive moss and not very inviting to sit on. This was equally the case with the chairs on the deck. But aware that we were in amongst the rainforest with a lot of dampness. The combustion wood fire inside did not seem to heat up the room as I would expect, thankfully there was also reverse cycle heating available.

It’s was absolutely perfect for our getaway with friends we were welcomed by local wombats and morning song of lyre bird

Great remote location, amazing views. Really loved the fire pit. Lots and lots of books/games and other things to do in the house. Well equiped kitchen, the house has everything you may need during your stay. We loved that the house was so 'live', not lifeless like a lot of properties are. Really enjoyed our stay.

− Overall everything is amazing. Would have been great if the garbage removal could be sorted out somehow. Or maybe a clearer instructions on where to throw it away in Berry (wherever its allowed)

Incredible place worth every penny

Incredible home, in a spectacular setting. My family were over the moon to stay here, as my dad kept saying "you can tell they want you to enjoy yourself here". Kitchen fully stocked, firepit, record player and layout of the house made for an amazing trip. Couldn't recommend this more, one of the best places I've ever stayed. Highly recommend swimming in the creek but check yourself for leaches after. Incredible bird life surrounding the house as an added bonus.
