4.0The location is very close to the Port area and some facilities for buying necessities and close to food hubs.
− The room is leaking when it is raining. The bathroom/CR has no adequate hooks to put towels or clothes. The guest house charged us an amount that was not discussed during our call before I went ahead with the reservation. I was asked to pay an additional 500 pesos per head (1,000/day) since the room has the capacity of 5 and there were 7 of us during our stay but during my call before I made the reservation I asked Francis from La Familia that there are 7 of us checking in and what are the additional fees I need to pay and he only mentioned that I can pay for 500 per bed if needed. When we arrived we are able to squeeze ourselves to the 3 available beds and opted to add only 1 bed but when we are checking out the lady said we need to pay per head plus the 1 additional bed so that is 1,000(2 additional heads) x 3nights + 1,500(1 bed for 3 nights) and I did not agree so she just said to just pay for the 3,000(2 additional heads for 3 nights). I explained to her that Francis told me otherwise but she insisted to pay the additional 500 per head so I did and did not argue further and we checked out. The agreement beforehand is not a miscommunication because I talked to Francis in Cebuano which is their native language since I am fluent in it.

− They dont cater breakfast, lunch or dinner. You need to go out and buy but its ok. What matters was that the place feels like home
