8.0The room was well equipped with Tv, fridge, wash basin, kettle, tea & coffee and fans for the hot weather. The bed was really comfortable. The toilet and shower for this room were not en suite but just across the hall. This was fine for us and the shower was really good. The location for the beach and the centre of town was perfect. A note for other travellers..... Parking outside is for one hour only, however at the end of the road there is a large car park (£9.90 for 24 hours) The seafront pub, The Spinning Wheel also has all day parking for £5 per day.
− Whilst the mattress was really comfortable, the foot board of the bed gets in the way of your feet if you are over 6ft tall.... as I am.
A fantastic Guest House with friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and a very comfortable stay.
10.0I really enjoyed the location of the Guest House, being central to the main areas of Paignton and only a few minutes away from the Pier, Main Street and Beaches. I also found the staff member that I spoke to on both check-in and check-out to be great and very welcoming. The room had all the amenities I expected, and I found the mini fridge to be particularly useful given the recent hot weather, as I could go to a local shop to stock up on drinks. The Guest house was easy to find, check-in was straightforward, and the room upon arrival was clean and tidy. I would strongly recommend this Guest House to others, and will definitely return.
