A fantastic, relaxing break with super-lovely hosts!
10.0The hosts, Katy and Stephen, were amazing - the nicest holiday hosts we’ve ever met in our 10 years of holidaying together. They were so helpful, kind, cheery and genuinely friendly, and went out of their way to make sure our visit was perfect. The room was absolutely beautiful; the bed was super-comfy; the TV was big and angled so we could both watch it (not like some places); the fridge was a godsend in the heatwave, allowing us to have cold drinks when we wanted. The homemade bread and jams were just delicious and we were very well looked after with luxury yogurts, orange juice, milk, porridge, cheese, fruit and tea/coffee etc. as well as Nutella, Marmite and peanut butter - and real butter too! The bathroom was pristine and the shower was good. The house is in a beautiful area, with a gorgeous garden and patio to enjoy breakfast/drinks on, and woodland walks on the doorstep. The peace and quiet was a total joy, with just the birds and sheep audible from the room. It was easy to find on the map (sat nav) - and the directions from Katy were spot on. It was also easy to park at the property. We bought two jars of the mouth-watering jams to take home with us, with our delicious bread, and are already looking at returning next year. You could not want for better hosts than Katy and Stephen. Thanks for making our stay so relaxing and for looking after us superbly! ☺️☺️

10.0We thoroughly enjoyed our stay recently with lovely Katy, and Stephen. The property was only a short distance from Whitby, the coast, but also many Interesting sights, a d beautiful villages around the North York Moors. We found the room was excellent, clean, very comfortable, and was well equipped with all we needed.
