− When booked in February they took funds right away Construction started Monday after we arrived NO MENTION DURING THE 6 MONTHS OF BOOKING DATE THAT THERE WOULD BE CONSTRUCTION COMMUNICATION WAS TERRIBLE

The rental staff was very organized and communicative. The condo common areas were meticulously maintained. The condo was lovely and well appointed. Great balcony.

Beware of hosts, broken promise, discriminated against amputee, many broken things and unclean areas

The view, the balcony, Marco Island itself, the location. WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE CONTINUED BELOW, I RAN OUT OF CHARACTERS. To start, I was instructed to go to an office to pick up the keys. We arrived at the office at the time we stated we would be arriving. No one was in the office, it was open, but not a sole in sight. We looked around a bit, no keys and no people. I found the number to call the host and inquired about the keys, he asked me to hold the phone a second. He came back on the phone and said they were in the condo ;-( We left and drove to the gated condo community, we were given a yellow visitors pass and told to park on the top level of the parking garage, the lower was ONLY for people who had a blue pass. We drove up to the second level and there wasn't a direct entrance to the building. We either had to walk all the way around the building or go down a spiral set of stairs. I am a below the knee amputee and just started walking in September 2024 (6 months). There was no way I could carry luggage to the condo, the spiral stairs were too dangerous, and walking around was a long walk to carry my bags and luggage. My husband ended up carrying everything! Once we got to an entrance, we couldn't access the building because it was locked and you needed a key...which was in the condo!!! We had to wait until someone came along to let us in the building. When I got to the condo, the view was beautiful, but in the master bath, makeup and dirty hair brushes were left (it was disgusting). Then the dresser had a broken top drawer, the french door to the balcony had a long string from the blinds laying on the floor, I am an amputee below the knee and nearly tripped because the cord was wrapped around my prosthetic leg. The screens on both sets of french doors were ripped, they were flapping open.

− Continued from above... Being able to sit on a balcony that overlooks the pool and Gulf was beautiful and relaxing. The condo was fairly large, there were four of us, but easily could have had two more on the couch in the living room. When I reached out to the company renting about all the issues, and mind you, THIS WAS A VACATION, and EXPENSE RENTAL, they said to me "well, this is NOT meant for people with disabilities!!" WHAT!!!!!! I was floored, I am looking into reaching out to the ADA about this situation!!! They said they would send people in to fix everything, so instead of being about to enjoy the beach and sunshine, we had to wait in the condo for the workers to fix the issues!! And, they were 1/2 an hour late!! In any event, they were able to fix one screen, fixed the long string and took the makeup out of the drawer...nothing else!! Said they couldn't fix it now and would have to come back, never came back. We were promised the closet would be organized so clothes, especially dresses could be hung up. never happened. Promises, promises, no follow through!! I am SO disappointed and annoyed!!! This is something I NEVER expected, and definitely did not want to deal with on VACATION!!! This was totally unexceptable, I am VERY disappointed and will NEVER rent from these people again!! This is my 4th time with Marco and I have never dealt with anything like this!!! I am going to reach out to ADA, I felt discriminated against, and that alone, is wrong in so many ways!! Beware of renting from this company!!!

The most place was clean, bright and well taken care of.

− The very long walk to the beach, no laundry facilities within unit, difficulty reaching the property, lack of prior instructions about tower, unit no. and how to obtain entry to building.

Peaceful and perfect getaway

Location was perfect! Beautiful view. Property was peaceful, because not many people around this time of year. The condo was very nice, well maintained and has everything you need. The Island has all the amenities and is very easy to get around. There are lots of small restaurants around the island with great food. There is shaded parking which is nice during the hot Florida summer! We will definitely come back to Marco Island even for a weekend getaway!

− Construction happening in the building, so it was quite noisy during the afternoons if we wanted to take a nap. The listing states free parking, however there was a $100 fee to register vehicle and get a parking pass. Beautiful big refrigerator but the ice machine didn’t work. The management company was nice and offered to have some ice dropped off for us. The price was a little steep. Especially when comparing to other units in the same complex (compared them while I was there). Seems like this unit has more expensive extras added to the base price. (Management fee is pricey)
