Such a cute place which felt very spacious with all the beautiful windows. Steph was very responsive and we enjoyed her

− Body wash in the shower would have been appreciated. We loved having a washing machine but perhaps it could have been mentioned in the info folder.

10.0This has been a delightful place to stay. Its conversion into a cute self catering cottage is exceptional in an ideal location within walking distance of the village. Would highly recommend this to anyone wishing a peaceful base for exploring this beautiful area of the Highlands.

A wonderful stay
10.0Beautiful situated, walkable to the village, very well set out with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The accommodation was very clean and the complimentary coffee and cakes was a lovely surprise.

Wunderbares Zuhause auf Zeit im hohen Norden Schottlands
10.0Was für ein besonderer Ort! Die alte Station der Küstenwache wurde liebevoll und auf sehr hohem Niveau renoviert. Endlich mal ein Haus in Schottland in dem man auch bei niedrigen Außentemperaturen nicht friert 😉. Dabei herrliche Blicke; ob vom Frühstückstisch oder der gemütlichen Sitzecke. Von der guten Kommunikation im Vorfeld bis zur großartigen Willkommensüberraschung hat Steph alles getan, um uns den Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Zusätzlich zur Waschmaschine gibt es einen separaten Trockner; sehr praktisch, wenn man schon einige Zeit unterwegs ist. Eine Wäschespinne fehlt auch nicht. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Seehunde zu besuchen und wundervolle Wanderungen zu machen; die Sandwood Bay werde ich nicht vergessen. Peet's Restaurant haben wir gleich zweimal besucht... Freundlich und sehr lecker. PS: Hoffentlich bekommt EZO die Einrichtung ihrer E-Ladestationen in der Region in den Griff; so war es ein Abenteuer. Mal klappte das Schnellladen, mal mussten wir die 11 kW Station nutzen. EZO App mit hinterlegter Kreditkarte war dafür ein Muss.
