A Peaceful Paradise: The Balcony of the Atlantic We recently spent a wonderful 10 days at Casa Bincoblanco, and the name "The Balcony of the Atlantic" couldn't be more accurate. Situated about 2km behind the town of Alcalá at an elevation of 200m, the villa offers a stunning dual spectacle: breathtaking sunsets over the island of La Gomera to the front, and the beautiful snow-capped peaks of Pico Viejo and Teide to the rear. The two-bedroom villa itself is bright, airy, and exceptionally well-equipped. The large kitchen and dining area was a genuine pleasure to cook and eat in, featuring everything from a full-size cooker and dishwasher to various types of coffee makers. For relaxing, the lounge has a very comfortable sofa and a TV for those who need it. We found the master bed excellent, and the walk-in shower in the main bathroom was a highlight—great water pressure and almost instant hot water at any time of the day. The outside areas are perfect for patient wildlife spotting and offer some of the most stunning night skies we have ever seen. While the property feels beautifully secluded and quiet, it is only a short distance from town. The final stretch of access is along an unmade road about 500m long; it is quite rough in places, but if you take it easy, a normal road car handles it just fine. It is well worth the drive for the peace and privacy you find at the top. A special mention must go to our hosts, Miguel and Juanjo. They were there to give us a warm, sincere welcome and were incredibly helpful with their deep knowledge of the local area and the island. They truly made us feel at home. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Casa Bincoblanco. Surrounded by beautiful views and quiet comfort—what’s not to like? We will definitely be back!

Heerlijke villa, met zalig terras, compleet uitgerust, dubbele badkamer, mooi op een heuvel gelegen, fantastisch uitzicht en veel privacy.

− De oprit vanaf de hoofdweg is een hobbelige, matig onderhouden onverharde weg. We hadden onze racefietsen mee, de omgeving is fantastisch, maar de oprit was niet optimaal…

We had an amazing stay at Casa Bincoblanco. The villa is extremely private, offering stunning views over the Atlantic and a gorgeous infinity pool that made every sunset feel magical. We liked the modern designed villa which had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. One of the highlights was the large, fully equipped kitchen. We loved preparing meals and dining outside, enjoying the fresh air and views. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms spacious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful escape!
