The bathroom was freshly renovated and property in a quiet location with off street parking available. Only a few minutes drive from centre of town. The inside area for living / dining was spacious.

− The property (aside from the bathroom) is in desperate need of some TLC. The couch was peeling and sticky, the air conditioners were dirty and one of the fans didn't work. The kitchen pots and pans were very tired and peeling. All very mismatched utensils, glassware and crockery - we had expected a bit more for the premium price paid. The outdoor area had garden waste, appeared unkempt including discarded pile of fake grass. We initially booked for 3 adults and a child, paid an additional charge for $130 to add another adult, requiring use of all beds. Later a surprise deduction was taken from security deposit for a further $130 for allegedly using an extra bed despite having access to all rooms. The security money was paid outside booking.com and direct to host at their request - please consider this carefully. Beware hidden charges and after the fact restrictions on access to beds - even if you think you have booked the whole property per booking.com terms and conditions.

Aircons worked pretty good

− Where do I start ? Four days prior to staying here I received an email from the owner stating that I had to pay an extra $500 cleaning fee otherwise I would not be able to stay, when she was told she'd recieve it when I had that money to give her i was told it would need to be instant otherwise I would forfeit the accommodation. House was dirty upon arrival, marks all over the doors, frames, skirting boards and walls. Dishwasher on/off switch broken and door handle to open was glitchy. Advertisement said 3 bedroom, got there and only two bedroom, if i wanted a third bedroom unlocked i was to pay more which I definitely wasnt going to do, two of the people staying with me had to sleep in the same bed or on the lounge chair (which has rips and tears in it) Holes in the walls in second shower room, when said shower room was in use a nasty Sewage smell would come out of the drain in both bathrooms. Toilet roll holder in main bathroom was broken. Food in pantry out of date and no dates on food that was in clear food containers, half drunk bottle of red wine, I dont know how long the bread in the freezer had been there for. It states in the about section that it was "dog friendly" but dogs weren't allowed inside and I wouldn't think rocks for a backyard would be nice to walk on but ok. Speaking of backyard, it was messy and unkempt. All in all will definitely NOT be staying here again, I've learnt my lesson and will be reading past reviews from here on out.

− Extremely run down for what we paid. Strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Skirting boards were filthy and extremely scuffed. Leather on one of the couches and the kitchen stools were peeling and torn.

Beds were comfortable. Host was responsive.

− Property was very worn, used milk and wine left in fridge. Breakfast inc. Was raisin bread in freezer and some cereal in containers (dont know how old both were so didnt touch) Outdoor area was full of Cobwebs and area not cleaned. Unable to utilise outdoor space.

− The whole lot it smelled. It wasn’t kid friendly nothing can’t believe I wasted my money on this biggest disappointment ever.
