Two unique cabins wrapped in beautiful welsh scenery♡

Beautiful location, disappointing accommodation

The location is beautiful, with lovely countryside and some great nearby towns and pubs to explore. We enjoyed following the local recommendations and spent most of our time out and about rather than at the property itself. Inside, the large bifold doors were a nice feature and the sunken bath was enjoyable, although it wasn't quite as pictured and was difficult to access because of the low ceiling. The cabin clearly has the potential to be a unique and luxurious place to stay with some care and attention.

− Unfortunately, the property didn't live up to the listing. The Booking.com photos appear to combine images from two different cabins, so we expected something quite different from what we arrived to. The cabin was advertised as a two-bedroom property, but the second "bedroom" was actually a very small loft accessed by a step ladder with a couple of mattresses in a dusty, spider-filled space that looked completely unused. We were also told there would be an additional charge if we wanted to use this second bed, which was unexpected, luckily we didn't need it. We had informed the hosts before arrival that my partner was 26 weeks pregnant. The main bedroom was accessed via steep floating stairs, and the bath via another separate staircase, making it much less suitable than we had anticipated. We had thought we had booked a ground floor bedroom and bath from the photos. Cleanliness was the biggest disappointment. There were cobwebs on light fittings, around the bed and in the skylights above it, and the handrail to the bedroom was so dirty our hands were black after using it. The skylights advertised for stargazing were covered in dirt and bird droppings, so the view wasn't as advertised. Several advertised amenities were also missing. We didn't receive the promised bottle of wine or champagne, there was no fan despite one being listed, and there was no BBQ, only a small fire pit. We'd brought food specifically to barbecue, so this was disappointing. The outdoor area didn't resemble the photos. It was overgrown with weeds and had old, rusty metal chairs that weren't comfortable to sit on, so we ended up keeping the bifold doors open and eating inside instead. With no TV and nowhere pleasant to sit outside, there wasn't really a comfortable space to relax, and the sofa inside was also quite worn and not comfortable. We reported a cracked and loose toilet seat on arrival.
