9.0Fantastisk beliggenhed nærmest beliggende på stranden. Lille og hyggeligt med meget personlig betjening. Der var håndklæder særligt til strand på værelset. Værelset er ret lille, men det opvejes af fællesarealerne og tagterrassen.
− Mangler plads til tøj og afsætning.

8.0“ surf to door” right in front of the beach . More b&b vibes then hotel because its quite small but cozy . I loved the double shower in our room which was very spacious . Simple but delicious breakfast. Very friendly hosts .
− The smell was quite unpleasant in our room but understandable with all the humidity. And seems like portugal has this sewage smell problem everywhere

10.0We had a wonderful stay at Moinho da Areia. We were given such a warm welcome from the very beginning. The breakfast was exceptional ( best fresh orange juice), the rooms were very comfortable. The host even prepared a lovely birthday surprise for me which made our stay even more special. Highly recommend!

A wonderful retreat in Sao Miguel
10.0The whole experience was wonderful. Cristina and Vitoria were so helpful with recommendations and made the whole space feel so welcoming and comfortable. The other guests were lovely and it was nice to have breakfast with them, and the mixed breakfast of buffet style and a la carte items is a great mix, and the cooking is amazing. There is fresh cake available throughout the day which was amazing, with some wonderful flavors. The location is perfect, just in front of the beach being able to watch all the weather the Azores has to offer, or stand on the terrace watching the surfers catch some waves. In walking distance is plenty of things like a supermarket, an art gallery, restaurants, and beaches. It's super easy to use this as your main hub for Sao Miguel, or to use it as a stop in the north center of the island. It's super close to things like Cha Gorreira, Lagoa do Foga, but also easy to access other places like Sete Cidades and Furnas for the day.
− The room we stayed in had a bit of an awkward layout in regards to the bathroom.
