Homely, warm and comfortable.
10.0Seb met me at the property, told me where to park my car and carried my case to my room. He was very friendly and helpful. He brought me fresh milk for hot drinks and set up the mini fridge to keep it in, he gave me a key for the front door and left me in peace. The house has a warm and homely feel. I stayed for 3 nights and slept incredibly well. The room was clean, comfortable and suited my needs. The internet connection is excellent. A kettle, tea, coffee, bottled water glasses, mugs and spoons are provided.
− The mattress was comfortable despite the odd spring creating hard lumps in the surface and the occasional boinging noise. There was no lock on my door. There wasn't anywhere suitable to put my used tea bags. A bin liner would be useful.
Smart room great location great hosts.
8.0Location was easy to find. Parking was great. The room was lovely, quite spacious and light. Great bathroom with nice hot shower. The costa coffee was a nice touch. Everything beautifully clean and smelled nice. The family were very lovely and respected my privacy I even got to meet Mathilda one of the roaming tortoises on my way out. The walk into Oakham only took 10 minutes, and its a nice walk. Thank you Seb and family
− The mattress was a bit too tough for me and could have done with a mattress topper. I am the Princess and the pea though! I did mention this and they are one step ahead with all the plump stuff coming. Will stay next time ;)

− It was in The persons house , on a landing with the rest of family, house untidy but lived in. No lock on the door not hoovered and the room smelt very strong of spices
