8.0Spacious, clean and well equipped. Excellent location with a carpark 2 mins away. Tasteful deco with thoughtful touches.
− No W Zone parking scratchcards, which I thought were included (info pack indicates this, but we ended up paying £30 in Silver St car park, a real faff online). One part used toilet roll not great for 4 days - human error methinks.
Had a lovely weekend break and would definitely stay in this little cottage again

10.0Very well equipped property in a great location. Very comfortably furnished with everything thought of. Close proximity to both seafront and local amenities. For anyone looking it is only a 15 minute walk to The Cinder Track parkrun. Clear instructions and timely information provided by host
An exceptional cottage superbly decorated and hosted by one of the nicest hosts you could meet.
10.0We were met by the host Lee, who gave us a really nice welcome and took the time to explain about parking, electronic door entry systems and the parking within the area, which was greatly appreciated.
− There is nothing not to like about The Old Surgery, a cosy cottage in the heart of Whitby. It is exactly what it says on the tin, and a superb place to stay close enough to the Whitley Bay front but away from the noise on the evening.
