7.0The host's sister, who let us into the apartment, was very friendly. The apartment is on the 10th floor, is quiet, and has a fantastic view. Beds are ok, the entrance area is clean and safe, and other residents are polite. The water kettle works, and there are two small heaters. This is relevant in wintertime when we stay. Internet works reliably. The living room is floored with laminate, the bedrooms with parquete, kitchen, and bathroom with tiles. No old carpets, which is definitely a plus for us.
− In principle, the apartment is clean except a lot of hair lying around. Kitchenware and kitchen cabinet are not clean. You ned to wash things before you use them. Some essential kitchenware is missing. The apartment needs some repair, cupboard doors loose, lights did not work, couch is not usable, it is scuffed and the seats were completely down, skirting boards were loosely lying around. Toilet flush needs a caring hand. The cupboards in the sleeping rooms are filled with a lot of old stuff.
We felt very at home here!
9.0The location was perfect and the terrace had a spectacular view of the ocean! No need for air conditioning on really hot days because the infrastructure allowed for good ventilation. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the bed was comfortable. The host is very attentive and helpful.
− There were quite a few things in the apartment that were falling apart and needed repair. The bathroom was constantly really humid, so the towels couldn't be kept there because they started to smell after a few days.
Great short stay in Montevideo
9.0The very spacious balcony with a view! The location was great and close to shops and some nightlife. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
