The location is superb. Great view over the valley. The rooms facilitate most needs during your holiday. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. There is enough space to park a car nearby.

− All rooms where poorly isolated (sound). You can hear neighbors talking when they speak a little louder.

Stunning building, beautifully reimagined as accomodation and spotlessly clean.

Comfortable beds, lovely decor and facilities, beautifully decorated and very spacious (room 3) We loved little touches like the coffee pods, thank you.

− Pillows were either too thin or two hard, it’s an English thing. Would have liked more info on where we could go within the property and details of its history and previous use.

Good, but room for improvement

Lovely little castle, which would be even better if it was fully completed and you could use and see all parts of it. Did not encounter any dampness or mosquito issues as some other reviewers mentioned. Was able to check-in early and got an extra radiator heating unit after the first night was a bit cold in the hills. Nice shared kitchen with free coffee, but not enough cooking utensils.

− Very nice room, with small imperfections that would have made it a perfect stay. For instance, there are not enough towel racks, covers needed for the bedside lights, or else too bright. Luckily, no one stayed in the room next to me, or else we would have been able to hear everything in the adjacent room (as other reviewers mentioned)! The soundproof issue needs to be resolved. Very quiet area, but you can clearly hear the cars from the neighbors driving by or footsteps of someone walking past the room on the gravel.
