Avoid This Property – Nightmare Experience
1.0This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had. We had agreed in advance with the landlord to arrive around 10 PM. When we got there, the PIN code he gave us for the key safe was wrong. We tried calling multiple times but got no response — it appeared he’d gone to bed and left us stranded. We spent hours standing outside, in the dark, trying to get help. Booking.com made promises to find us an alternative place, but nothing came through. The landlord finally messaged us around 3 AM with a different PIN code — far too late. By that point, we had spent over four hours making our journey back to London with nowhere to go. On top of that, the landlord had sent over a long list of 20+ arbitrary and controlling house rules via WhatsApp — things like “no shoes in the apartment” and other overly strict instructions that made the whole experience even more unwelcoming. Completely unprofessional, utterly frustrating, and deeply disappointing. I would strongly advise against booking this property.

1.0Location of where the property was located to where we were attending a wedding.
− Where the keys are located to where the actual apartment is is very confusing. We spent about 5 minutes driving around trying to find the flat. Once inside, the apartment was clean, it smelt nice. However it is decorated with cheap furnishings (Fabric chest of drawers, metal bed frames etc… for an overnights stay, it is ok especially if you don’t intend to unpack.. but not ideal if you were planning on staying longer. The reason I mention the cheap furnishings is because we are being accused of breaking a 4ftdouble bed and I am guessing, they are trying to keep hold of a damage deposit of £250 that they took out of our account beforehand on top of what we paid for the booking! Please note we didn’t even stay in the apartment as intended. We were only in there no more than 30mins. We submitted our proof and got no response from the hosts. I feel compelled to leave a review to warn future guests that plan on staying here. I hope the hosts review their cameras and that our money is refunded. I have reported the issue to booking.com, hopefully it is resolved.
