6.0Informed us the day we arrived that the rooftop bar was closed for a private event. A $700 Friday night stay, and their premiere facility was off limits. Would have been good information to have before booking. Disappointing stay.

8.0Litchfield and the surrounding area is very picturesque and the hotel has converted the local courthouse.The hotel itself is lovely, the staff is superb and location is ideal. Our only issue was we were paying New York hotel prices to view the car park of the local district Post Office. There is a reason that ear plugs are left in the room rather than a coffee maker or TV.

10.0Staff is excellent as is the decor and service both at the hotel, restaurant and rooftop. Not well known but the air conditioning in the room can be very loud and there are no TV’s in the room. The street is very walkable and there are several excellent restaurants within a quick walk or 10 min drive. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely- as was the restaurant. Great long weekend stay!

10.0Well appointed rooms -new hotel. Very clean. Comfortable bed and great shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location near shops and restaurants. Rooftop bar and restaurant on premises which stay open late. Would highly recommend.

Take in the views from a rooftop terrace and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access and concierge services.
