What a delightful apartment this is - we stayed for a fortnight, so got a good feel for the surroundings too. The proximity to the city centre is great - it's a lovely 5ish minute walk into town, through gorgeous streets and a park. The apartment has is very well appointed, the only thing I would wish for is a microwave. The kitchen has plenty of crockery and cutlery, a full sized refrigerator, and the oven and stovetop work well. There is a coffee machine and kettle and there were both coffee bags and tea bags, and a small selection of condiments, in the kitchen itself. It was nice to wash the dishes looking in to the back yard, where there is a table and chairs under cover for your use. The bed is super comfy = we appreciate having seperate bedding, as is the norm in Denmark. The shower works well, and the bathroom (which is off the bedroom) also has the washing machine and drier - with detergent provided. The lounge is comfy with a range of seating available. We didn't use the sofa bed, as only the two of us. Great windows that open out on to the street, and provide good sound insulation. We did hear a bit of noise from the apartment above, but that's to be expected in a multi story building of some age. Highly recommend the bakery, Rises Brod, just down the street -= delicious bread and pastries, and wonderful staff. There are 3 supermarkets within easy walking distance too. Communication with the hosts was responsive, and access to the apartment straight forward. Odense is a great city to do lots of sightseeing from, or just enjoy the history and beautiful colourful streets. Overall, would highly recommend this place to family and friends (see note below about car parking).

− Car Parking - the only reason we didn't rate this apartment higher. Be aware you are staying in the central part of Odense, so car parking is going to be tricky, however, street parking is mostly limited to one hour during the majority of the day (from memory this applies from 9am to 8pm M-F, 9am - 2pm on Saturday), We did find a car park within a 5 minute walk, which cost 7DKK/hr from 8am to 8pm (you do have to pay at 8pm, or you will be charged for overnight, even though that time is free). Luckily for us, almost all of stay was during summer school holidays, so we could park in the nearby school car park for free (they put up signs to indicate this).

Hyggelig hjemlig lejlighed med alle fornødenheder. Dejligt med håndklæder og sengelinned, så det ikke skal med i kuffert. Dejlig centralt beliggende - 15 min gang i moderat tempo af smutveje, og man er i centrum; alle steder er inden for overskuelig gå-adgang. Kan kun give denne lejlighed den bedste anbefaling.
