A very high spec house in a good location would recommend it

The photographs didn’t do this lovely house justice at all. It is spacious and beautifully furnished. The bed in the top bedroom is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! The kitchen has everything you could possibly want. The information folder is brilliant - very detailed. The location is also great - very close to Holt and the railway station, and ideally placed to access lots of beautiful places within a short drive. We loved the little touches too - for example phone chargers available next to the bed!

− A minor point, but we couldn’t find any scissors anywhere in the kitchen when we needed them.

Warm and in good position

− Needs some standard maintenance such as blind broken in 1st floor bedroom and toilet roll holder hanging off the wall. Need to clean the palm tree that is thick with dust or in deed just get rid of it as it’s in the way!! Smelt of stale bodies Dustbins need sorting out as it appears it’s alternate weeks for black and green bins but no idea which week Green bin was ram jammed full We put both out but only black got emptied

Location good. Furnishings very nice, comfortable. Parking good.

− Cleanliness not the best, food deposits on forks in cutlery drawer, cups/mugs tea stained - kitchen items obviously not checked by cleaner. Tea/coffee spillage stains on skirting board in lounge. Artificial plant in bedroom covered in dust, bedside lamps dusty with cobweb trailing to ceiling on one of the lamps in bedroom on second floor. Mirror in en-suite bathroom in bedroom on first floor not cleaned properly - water splash marks. Outside plants in back garden very overgrown and encroaching on back door, after it rained plants drooped and overhung the back door even more. There were no oven gloves, dishcloth or scissors as per the itinery. No hand towel for downstairs toilet or handwash in any of the bathrooms (not sure if this should have been provided but it would have been nice). Overall for the standard of the furnishings and cost paid for this accommodation we were dissappointed by the above failings. Also a welcome pack would have made a difference to the overall quality this property was trying to target.
