Harmony in Rome

Good choice for location

Two things stand out: the comfort of the bed and the location of the building. Everything is within walking distance. We explored everywhere for 5 days without using public transportation or taxis.

− There were many things I disliked and that did not meet my expectations. I think the photos are definitely misleading. If they had reflected the truth, especially regarding the toilet, I would never have chosen this place. There are two bedrooms and 1 bathroom/toilet combined. However, the bathroom and toilet are en-suite to one of the bedrooms. Those staying in the other room cannot use the toilet without entering your room. This was neither pleasant nor comfortable. We shared the apartment with thousands of ants, and we couldn't figure out where they were coming from. They were everywhere, including the bathroom. To avoid attracting them, we chose not to keep any food in the apartment. It was not a pleasant situation. The glass door of the bathroom wouldn't close properly, leaving everything soaked.There is no washing machine in the apartment, and I can't say there were enough clean towels for a 5-day stay. There is a self-service laundry right across from the building, but we chose not to use it due to hygiene concerns. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water each in the fridge. I also wished there were disposable slippers. These expectations come from the service I have received in other apartments of the same standard where I've stayed before.

De centrale ligging waardoor een middagpauze met airco op de meeste dagen voor de hand lag. Contact met Irene was gemakkelijk te leggen en verliep soepel.

− Niets, de accomodaties kwam helemaal overeen met de verwachtingen.

Die Lage war unschlagbar. Direkt am jüdischen Viertel ist man in ca. 10 Minuten über der Brücke in Travestere. Andere Richtung, ebenfalls ca. 10 Minuten Fußweg liegt das Pantheon. Zum Petersdom waren es ca. 25 Minuten Fußweg, schön entlang des Flusses. Die Unterkunft selbst hatte alles, was wir benötigten. Eine Küchenzeile inklusive Kaffeemaschine und Kapseln dazu, Kühlschrank und Grundausstattung wie Öl, Essig, Salz, Zucker. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Klimaanlagen (je Schlafzimmer eine) waren ebenfalls super! Trotz der zentralen Lage war es super ruhig und man hörte kaum etwas von den Außengeräuschen im Zimmer. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war einwandfrei und sie war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Sie war immer erreichbar. Wenn wir nochmals nach Rom kommen, dann bestimmt wieder mit einem Aufenthalt im Harmony :)

− In den Schlafzimmern könnten noch Verdunklungsvorhänge angebracht werden. Es gab leider keine Läden oder Rollläden, sodass wir morgens durch die Helligkeit wach wurden. War aber für uns nicht weiter tragisch, da unser Programm eh früh begann ;)
