Stunning peaceful luxury
10.0The photos are a true reflection of this beautiful villa. Stunning location, luxury rooms and scenic views wherever you look. We had a very warm welcome (and farewell) from our host who was easily contactable throughout our stay. It's in a very private location on the hillside, which makes for a relaxed and peaceful break, but is also just a 10 min walk down the hill to a small store and a few bars and restaurants where we enjoyed drinks, pizzas and a delicious traditional meal (in D'oro). Orebic and larger supermarkets are a 30 min drive away so ideally a car is needed. The whole villa is beautifully decorated and is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering break - and the winery next door is a real bonus! The overall layout gives you numerous places to sit in the sun or shade, all with stunning views and well maintained gardens. The 3 rooms are all in their own little areas so nice and private. It lists a 'sofa bed' in one room but it was a huge double and so much better than expected. There are steep steps down to the sea with direct, private access to swim over the rocks if you're brave enough, but there is a tiny beach a minute walk away if you prefer which we did enjoy. The infinity pool is fabulous and just the right size with the whirlpool - but it is up some steps away from the main patio so we would definitely say this villa is more of a relaxing adult vacation. Loved it and hope to be back.
