This place is unbelievable, the most amazing experience. It’s an exceptionally beautiful. The gardens are amazing. The pool is big. The house is so big the kitchen is perfect. You have everything you need to let go and have a amazing family weekend. Cook some food and enjoy your time . The supermarkets are five minutes out walking. And it’s accessible by train from Barcelona only 1.5 away

La casa no es que tingui un jardí; per les seves dimensions i diversitat, es un parc. Deu haver pocs casos aixi a Catalunya, on es mantingui una zona exterior de tanta qualitat, privat, i que per un petit periode de temps, com hoste pots gaudir per tu i la teva familia. Felicitats als propietaris per fer- ho possible. Hi ha nombroses terrasses, a cada qual mes bonica i especial. Cada racó està pensant per viure´l i tant es aixi, que hi ha nombrosos bancs de fusta on seure i contemplar el paisatge i que tenen el nom d´un escriptor o intelectual històric. No em puc ni imaginar com deu ser en la època de floració. Val la pena anar fins baix de tot, on hi ha una construcció arquitectonica d´epoca inesperada. En la terrasa just inferior de la casa hi ha una zona de barbacoa amb una magnifica taula exterior sota d´una morera, que per nosaltres va ser el lloc on hem celebrat els dinars familiars. La casa manté el mateix esperit del jardí d ´època, amb coherencia. A nosaltres, ens ha agradat molt el petit espai que hi ha just al costat de la cuina, on per exemple, pots pendre l esmorzar sota la llum d´una claraboia. El poble en si, permet visitar exteriorment el castell, que va ser un punt important durant la Reconquesta, i el casc antic. L´estança a la casa es pot complementar amb una visita a alguna cava vinicola caracteristica de la zona, també molt recomenable, ja sigui a la mateixa Anoia o a la frontera amb el Penedes. En definitiva, molt recomenable.

Magnificent! Casa Victor Riu is an extraordinary villa with private gardens and terraces, including a large terrace with a pool, shaded cupola, sun-lounging deck chairs, and dining area with a wall fountain. Spectacular! The gardens, featured on a book cover about Catalonia’s gardens, have multiple terraces with unique designs. One terrace has a brick oven and dining space for 12. Our host helped arrange a chef’s experience, with a Paella demonstration and garden dining under light strings. Another terrace seats 6, and an adjacent one offers space for drinks, dancing, and ping pong. Stucco work and 20-foot paintings add elegance. Exquisite! The lower garden has a lit dancing terrace with statuary. A gated building with its own garden and terrace offers an elegant dining room with a fountain. Our host recommended vendors for a private celebration. The evening was perfect, with twinkling lights, prepared tiles for dancing, unbelievable food, perfect photography, beautiful music, and dreamy florals. Special! The villa is joyful, beautiful, and artistic, with large rooms and three master suites, each with an en-suite bathroom. Two other bedrooms have twin beds. The décor blends Spanish tiling, art, and eclectic furniture. The downstairs has two dens, a living room with a crystal chandelier, a fireplace, and a TV. The kitchen is spacious, with a prep island and modern conveniences. A farmhouse dining room seats six. Welcoming! Our host was kind and communicative, making us feel like family. The house manager showed us around and supported our vendors. We recommend Casa Victor Riu highly. Our trip focused on Barcelona, with a 45-minute drive to the city. I could’ve spent a week at the villa. It was the loveliest place to return to after a busy day. Stay here… you will love it! Leisha L, USA.

Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our friend Fernando and the owner of the house for their gracious hospitality and for opening the doors of Casa Victor Riu to us. Our stay at Casa Victor Riu is beyond description in a single word; hence, I hope this review does it justice. As a family, we felt deeply honored to be the very first guests to stay at the magnificent Casa Victor Riu. Nestled in the traditional old municipality of Piera, within the enchanting city of Barcelona, the house left an indelible mark on our hearts, providing the tranquility and space we so earnestly sought. Even before our arrival, the photographs of the house evoked a sense of connection. This connection was immediately reinforced upon our first walk through the stunning, breathtaking garden. The thoughtfully designed house, with its harmonious integration of architecture and nature, made us feel at ease right from the start. The Italian-inspired walls and designs beautifully accentuate the essence of Casa Victor Riu: its garden. The garden, meticulously cared for, tells its own stories and has been nurtured with great attention to detail. Despite the grey and rainy weather, the garden and house maintained their vibrant charm. The various terraces and spots around the house provided ample space for us to comfortably enjoy and take in the awe-inspiring views of the garden and the city upon the hill. Casa Victor Riu transported us back to an era of class and elegance. The magnificent living room, highlighted by a striking fireplace, made our stay during the rainy days particularly cozy. The bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are exquisitely designed to complement the overall aesthetics of the house. Every room in the house has its unique design, fitting together like pieces of a puzzle, providing each family member with their private space.
