8.0The apartment is fully renovated with nice decorations. The floor tile was beautiful. We like the little patio which was very convenient to dry some clothes after washing them.
− Parking is 14 Euros per night which I had missed when I booked. For the price paid for the apartment, it would be nice to not be charged for the parking especially since the parking is just an outdoor parking behind the main building. It is secure but I think it should be included. In the main bedroom, they also have a very nice half moon window providing a lot of light in the room but there is no window covering for the night so we got woken up around 6am with full light in our room. Not great when you are trying to rest on vacation. Finally, they have a card key system to enter the apartment like in hotels. The key is also used to turn on the electricity so when you leave with the key, the AC shuts off. After a day outside, the apartment felt humid and warm.
A nice stay with a welcoming host, but better suited if you have a car.
7.0The host was very kind and welcoming when we arrived. The house itself is nice, comfortable, and overall a pleasant place to stay.
− There wasn’t enough stock of basic essentials like sugar, salt, or toilet paper. Also, without a car it’s a bit challenging to get around, and even booking a taxi can be difficult.

− The location is less than desirable. Ercolano is run down. Apartment building is one of two decent ones for several blocks.
