Buitengewone locatie en een prettig huis.

De locatie is uniek gelegen: naast het huis van de eigenaars in een olijvenboomgaard. De eigenaar is olijvenboer. Je moet een stuk klimmen met de auto over een onverharde weg, maar dat moet eigenlijk iedereen wel lukken. Het huis is ruim en naast het huis is een bijzonder ruim terras. Er is volop ruimte voor je auto. De eigenaren Vangelis, Zefi en dochter Irini zijn vrijgevig en bijzonder vriendelijk. Ze spreken goed Engels en je kunt alles aan ze vragen. Het huisje ligt vlak bij Gythio, wat een leuk kustplaatsje is met veel restaurants. Het huis heeft een goed ingerichte keuken en twee slaapkamers, waarvan er een bereikbaar is via een moeilijke trap. De airco werkt prima en er zijn best veel dieren (katten, een hond en een paard). Probeer vooral een rondje rond de Mani (het schiereiland) te rijden. Er zijn veel middeleeuwse plaatsjes.

− De douche was klein en had alleen een handdouche. Je kon er dus niet onder staan.

Hébergement très original en milieu rural mais tout près de la ville. Contacts très sympathiques avec les propriétaires.

Australians at Mani Hill

This is a humble abode amongst a peaceful landscape. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to make simple meals with ease. Utensils, kitchenware and basic cooking ingredients were provided, along with some snack foods and drinking water to get us started. A car is required to travel here, but it's a stone's throw away from the town of Gytheio. The owners of Mani Hill House were incredibly generous and friendly people, and we can't thank them enough for welcoming us into their home. We felt like we experienced real Greece during our stay. Highly recommend and we hope to return one day in the not too distant future.

Everything was spot on. The house, the views but the best was the family who runs it. Super great hosts that helped us with all they could (we had a problem with our car and they contacted someone to fix it). Thanks again Vangelis, Zefi and Irini, we hope to see you soon in Barcelona 😊
