Karon Beach, lovely condo central to everything
9.0Proximity to beach, markets and restaurants, and a nice pool. Enjoyed evenings on the balcony.
− It would have been helpful to know the condo was up a very, very steep hill (some taxis would not attempt to go up) and was on the second level with no lift (if you are one for large, heavy suitcases, or have mobility issues, may be an issue).
Enjoyed the self contained apartment, good location very steep drive, a short walk to beach / shop
7.0Things we liked about the apartment were: good size, air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well, nice big veranda with a great view and overall location was ok. Other facilities were pool very good (but closed early at 8.00pm) and gym was basic but ok.
− This had an overall rating on boooking.com of 9.2 so we had high expectations, it did not live up to the rating. Firstly there is a very very steep hill to walk up and people who book here need to be aware of this. Doing this a couple of times a day was not fun and is probably going to be the thing we most remember. In fact one tour would not drive up because it was so steep. As far as the apartment itself, its a bit dated, dishwasher did not work, cleaners came once during our two weeks there, we rate this overall 6.5 / 7.00
