Superb base for exploring Exmoor
9.0Beautiful BnB in a perfect location in Lynton. Good value for money. Good breakfast selection, quality ingredients and cooked well. Lynton itself is stunning and quite foodie, The Old Bank is exceptional and Blue Ball Inn pub was excellent too. Avoid The Crown.
− The Covid-style ‘rules’: having to fill in a form the day before with our breakfast time and order; having an assigned table, which was the worst one furthest from a window, even when there was nobody else dining. I can tolerate the form to avoid waste and provide swift service. The table assignments are a hard pass, felt like we’d inadvertently bought the cheap seats when we’d just booked the last available room. Other notes: it was very hot with no fan provided. We’d happily pay more for espresso coffee rather than filter. There are only two parking spaces at the front of the property but on street parking was readily available and free from 4pm-12pm daily.
