Stayed here to visit some family nearby, so location was perfect. House was well stocked, so could cook, eat and clean easily. Private driveway and garden was nice. Good TV. Wifi was OK, if a little slow, and central heating worked well.

− The property had a very unpleasant smell, like urine / wet dog. The whole house was full of overpowering air fresheners to try and mask it, so clearly an issue. One of the bins hadn't been emptied before we arrived, which had a dirty nappy in it, making you wonder how well the whole place had been cleaned. The sheets, mattresses and pillows were cheap, so sleeping was uncomfortable. The property has recently been redecorated, but to a terrible finish. Curtain rails were hanging off the wall, screws and nails not removed and the kitchen extractor fan didn't have a cover. The external doors were old and let a huge draft through the house. Had to rewash most of the crockery before using. For nearly £100 a night, you expect much better.
