nice beachfront apartment. friendly stuff, garage on site with direct elevator access

− apartment is quite old and can be renovated (at least in mat 2025), in few places there was dust and dirt. garage space is not the easiest to maneuver - require some skills (however possible with 7-person rental Nissan Qashqai). The biggest concern was dozens of tiny flies - so even its beachfront, you almost cannot use the balcony, or be very careful when opening doors, to not let all the flies inside. It would be helpful if the host provide some insect repellers - we had to search & buy two of them on our own

View from the balcony, location is front line on the beach. Parking in the basement garage was very helpful especially during 35C+ outside. Clean apartment, elevator from basement was extremely helpful. Wifi was great. Area has shops, caffeterias etc even we got a market one days in the yard. Fish market is 100m close as well as regular market, but prices are quite high there. But consider quarteira is quite silent ( and not that fancy place), we had to go to villamoura for the evening bars, but considering taxi trip was 4 Eur it is quite ok. We were allowed to get late checkout too.

− It is quite big on the paper, 2 separate bedroom, living room, bathroom, but when you wish to get guests together in the living room even for 3 people it is not comfortable, as there is just coach and then you need to use small Ikea chairs to sit for the rest of people. Balcony has a great view but it is also quite small, I would say if you want to use apartment rather then for sleeping it is comfortable just for 2 people. Would be helpful to get basic stuff in the kitchen, like salt pepper, also toliet paper for the days of staying so you dont need to buy( we had to buy a pack and then 80% left unused). There was construciton in the area (replacing the pavement in front of the building as well as some other works (one day we got water cut for 3-4 h without warnings). p.s. Tsunami warnings signs were surprising but we got used to that :) As seems that is usual thing across the portugal.

Overlooking the beach and see with amazing views from 3rd floor. Lovely balcony to sit and watch the world go by. Close to shops. Living room was modern. Apartment was quiet.

− The bathroom had no real ventilation and needs renovation. The bedrooms were comfy but also dated.
