Short Break
8.0Lovely warm welcome from Kier and the team. The front of house team are great and obviously have a care for their customers.
relaxed enjoyable stay.Staff welcoming and helpful
10.0Very clean room, bright and fresh. Big towels and comfy bed. Clean bathroom
Average accommodation
6.0The room wasn’t what we expected from the photo on our confirmation e mail. We were in an attic room with limited space when we had booked a ‘comfort’ room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable though. We dined in the pub on our first night but the food did not impress.

4.0Regrettably, we didn't feel The Red Lion was either good value or a pleasant place to stay. We booked and stayed two nights B&B. The accommodation is what we'd call basic. The breakfast was very poor. The team seemed extremely inexperienced. We felt that The Red Lion is really a drinking pub with accommodation and food as a slightly irritating afterthought. There are plenty of other places to stay in CC for not much more money. Our advice would be to try those first.
