Lovely cozy cottage, great location for Eden Barn weddings
10.0It was a lovely cozy cottage for our wedding guests to stay while being close to the Wilding Hotel for our wedding at Eden Barn. Extremely comfortable and a beautiful property.
− Only one set of keys (we had two couples staying there but they made it work with sharing).
Cosy, well furnished cottage in convenient village location.
9.0Cosy little cottage with a very well equipped kitchen. We liked the very comfortable beds, the good location for walkers, the fact it was very dog friendly, the thoughtful touches in the cottage, the fact there were lots of DVDs and books for us to enjoy, and the convenience of the location (corner shop just across the road, pub in the village).
− Can't really think of anything. It was ideal for our family of 4 + dog, but some people might find the second bedroom a tight squeeze!
Good to use as a base but nothing in the village
4.0It was clean and tidy
− Cold not enough heating and the information folder was not up to date , one pub had shut all had winter opening hours so not open the beginning of the week and no mention of no mobile phone signal. Also for the price paid we shouldnt have to strip the beds ourself. Text the owner with number he gsve snd no reply on the day.
Perfect cozy night away thank you
10.0Everything but of course the fire!
− Nothing it had everything we needed
Comfy, cosy cottage that needed more attention to detail.
6.0Large, spacious and comfy cottage. It was well equipped to cook xmas dinner and the shower worked well. Could be a real gem but it was slightly ruined as it just wasn't clean.
− It was tidy however it wasn't clean. There was sweet wrappers actually sticking out from under the sofa when we arrived and when I lifted up the couch seat there were dog biscuits and crumbs and food all under them. The bedroom mirror was full of spray/hair spray stains The toilet seat was 100 percent not cleaned, or the bathroom floor. The carpets not hoovered properly. Cobwebs. It just didn't smell clean. The bed sheets however were clean. It said a small starter package to build the fire would be left - it wasn't.
Fab stay
