Perfect, exceeded our expectations - especially for the price!

The property was in excellent condition and it had everything we could have wanted for our short stay. The instructions for obtaining the keys and once in the house were brilliant and we'd definitely stay here again if we came back to Leeds.

The only thing we didn't like was that when we came back from the festival, from the pavement edge of the driveway to the house, it was pitch black. Some small lights going up the sloped driveway would be ideal.

Lovely apartment

Very spacious apartment. Good location on the North Side of Leeds. Local shops are about 10-15 minute walk away.. Pub next door.

Noisy water meter in twin room

Lovely place to stay, comfortable, clean, cosy and very convenient for pubs and restaurants.

The flat has a beautiful garden and in a really quiet location. It’s a beautiful period building, light and airy with loads of space. Very clean with every piece of equipment needed for a comfortable stay, which was great for us as our granddaughter had an operation at the spire and was lovely to return afterwards to really comfortable accommodation.

Nothing.

Lovely stay

10.0

Stylishly decorated with good quality throughout, very spacious. Large rooms. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Lush linen and carpets. Plenty of storage. Hairdryer provided. Big shower. Tea and sugar in kitchen was great touch (we drank it black as sadly milk sachets were expired, lovely thought though), and some shampoo/conditioner products over and above the basics (might have been left by previous, not sure). Descriptive signage in places where needed. Folder outlining clear rules and suggestions where to eat. Night light by fridge marvelous idea. Easy to find and entry description simple to follow. Lovely convenient area within walking distance of nearest town and Roundhay Park..

Pleasant flat in a great location but spiky host - won't be staying there again.

Lovely location inside an old house within a short distance of Roundhay Park. The first floor flat is comfortable, and reasonably well equipped and furnished. Lots of character if you like old buildings.

Within half an hour of leaving the flat (on time) we had unpleasant 'feedback' from the host accusing us of having brought mud into the flat and 'treading it into the carpets' (which were only in the bedroom). Since the drive wasn't too clean and the key lock box for collecting and depositing the key was in the garden it wasn't entirely unexpected that a few bits of detritus found its way indoors, and there being no door mat at the entrance to the flat didn't help - any more than it being February. What really upset us: - was the tone of the message, particularly when we had spent some time tidying the flat before departure, and ensuring that all the dishes were clean and put away properly; - having to clean the dishes in the flat before using them when we first arrived (they had been put into the cupboard dirty, and the host clearly hadn't checked this), - the drainer area in the kitchen is a bacteria trap and not fit for purpose. - impossible to connect to the wifi. We had also been at pains to leave our shoes on the hard floor in the lounge-dining room, so we're not sure what the host is on about, and in our view any stray detritus in the flat would have been cleared in a matter of minutes with a vacuum cleaner. We did not think it was our job to undertake a deep clean of the flat on departure, but this may be what the host was expecting. It was also somewhat disappointing was that we had contacted the host before booking with a query, but weren't afforded the courtesy of a reply. This should have warned us. So to sum up, did we enjoy our stay? Yes. Would we stay there again? No. A very pleasant family weekend with friends in Leeds, was somewhat spoiled by the spikiness of the host. This is totally contrary to all our very many previous experiences with Booking.com properties, where our past experience has been entirely postive in properties across Europe with no complaints about us, or from us.
